Mendenhall PTA has had an amazing start to the year, and we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has joined, participated, volunteered, attended an event, or helped spread the word.
There’s already a lot to celebrate — and even more coming up!

We kicked off the year with our grade-level membership competition, and Mendenhall PTA has already grown to more than 90 members — compared with 36 last year!
Thank you to everyone who joined PTA and encouraged other families to get involved.

In September, PTA hosted our first membership meeting of the year along with our outdoor family picnic and foam party.
We loved seeing so many Mendenhall students, families, teachers, and staff spending time together!
We celebrated our staff who supported the picnic with a Chick-fil-a breakfast the next morning. We appreciate them staying at school late to support our families!

Chuck E Cheese made a surprise visit to the kids at school on Friday, September 25th!

You may see events, celebrations, programs, and other extras happening around Mendenhall throughout the year and not realize that many of them are organized, funded, or supported by Mendenhall PTA.
PTA is a volunteer organization made up of Mendenhall parents, teachers, staff, and community members working alongside our school.
Your membership matters tremendously.
But building the PTA we envision takes more than money.
More than anything, we need people. ❤️
More than anything, we need people. ❤️
We need families willing to help at an event, cover a teacher’s duty, prepare something from home, join a planning group, or simply step in for an hour when there’s a need.
That’s how more than 90 PTA members become something much bigger than a membership number.
